Manny Many Prizes lived up to its promise of giving away big prizes and rewarding opportunities

In the pilot episode last July 16, Manny Pacquiao proved just how quickly and easily a player could win in this newest game show of the Kapuso Network. Manny Many Prizes gave away at least 2 million worth of giveaways and prizes including a house-and-lot no less.

Many were touched by Pacman’s decision to give 61-year old John Roldan the house-and-lot despite his incorrect choice in the final round, as according to the People’s Champ “walang uuwing luhaan sa show.” Another big winner for the night was James Villanueva, a pedicab driver, who was awarded with a “pangkabuhayan package” worth 60,000 pesos.

Because of this, Manny has now earned himself another title as the “Pambansang Ninong” to signify his generosity and sympathy to others.

Meanwhile, more viewers tuned in to Manny Many Prizes compared to its rival programs. According to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, Manny Many Prizes won a 16.3 percent victory against TV Patrol’s 9.4 percent and Will Time Big Time’s 10.7 percent.

Statistics aside, MMP displayed great promise, as it was able to entertain and inspire viewers with its fun and enjoyable format.

Manny and his co-hosts Paolo Contis, Rhian Ramos, Isabelle Daza, Gladys Guevarra, Onyok Velasco, and Boobay are all very pleased with their first salvo, and are as excited to bring hope and cheers to more viewers.
