Magic Palayok, begins it run with flying colors after registering high viewer ratings

Based on household data from the more widely recognized industry ratings supplier Nielsen TV Audience Measurement covering the period February 28 to March 4, the series posted 39.1 share points, 8.6 points ahead of ABS-CBN’s The Price is Right 30.5 share points; and 28.1 points up from the TV5′s Aksyon 11.0 across National Urban Philippines.


Also for the period of February 28 to March 4, Magic Palayok earned 45.4 share points in Mega Manila, 22.1 points higher than ABS-CBN’s 23.3 and 32.7 share points away from TV5′s 12.7 points. Mega Manila comprises 58 percent of the total urban TV household population in the country.

Even in Kantar Media’s National TV Ratings, Magic Palayok garnered an average of 19.8% on the same period while its rival program, The Price is Right, only got an average of 15.6%.

Viewers of all ages especially the younger ones are instantly hooked on Magic Palayok, which not only as interesting, amusing and engaging to watch but also imparts valuable lessons on life to its audience.

The show is expected to set even higher ratings on the coming days especially when the main protagonist Cookie, played by child star Angeli Nicole Sanoy, discovers the magical powers of the palayok entrusted by her deceased mother Isadora (Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski).

Meanwhile, after she left their house to find her father, Cookie meets Pilar (Carla Abellana) and offers to help revive her small carinderia only if she lets her stay. Soon, Pilar’s carinderia becomes an instant hit all over town. But this good news instantly sparks stiff competition between Pilar and Jude (Geoff Eigenmann).

How long can Pilar and Cookie hide the powers of the Magic Palayok from Jude? Will Natasha succeed in discovering the identity of the mystery cook of Pilar?
