Reg and Casey Evicted from Pinoy Big Brother

Reg of “Pinoy Big Brother UnliDay” and Casey of “Pinoy Big Brother UnliNight” were booted from the Pinoy Big Brother house Saturday night (Dec 3) in the season’s second live back-to-back eviction night.

Former Power Stranger Reg was forcibly evicted from the house for repeatedly forgetting to use the lapel microphone and for telling his housemates what he had seen on television before entering the house.

Meanwhile, Casey received the lowest percentage of net votes (10.75%) against her “PBB UnliNight” housemates Tol (11.07%) and Wendy (22.58%).

Before he left the house, Big Brother told Reg the importance of discipline and respect for the law and other people. Mark and Luz, on the other hand, are not escaping punishment for listening to Reg’s stories and will be given penalty in due time.

Team High Voltage of “PBB UnliNight” also won the Jump Rope Exhibition against Team Wayuk of “PBB UnliDay” and bagged the first P150,000 from the P1.5 million pot money.

The war between the two houses is on. Which team will win the next nine Kontra Battles that will test their skills and camaraderie?

ABS-CBN Corporation earned another International Emmy Awards nomination for its drama series “Precious Hearts Romances presents Impostor,” a story about a provincial lass who was forced to take the persona of a well known model.

Gerald Anderson is back on television as he stars in ABS-CBN’s first advocacy serye, “Budoy”

Action drama prince topbills ABS-CBN’s first advocacy-serye.

Gerald Anderson is back on television as he stars in ABS-CBN’s first advocacy serye, “Budoy” where he will play the role of a boy suffering from a delay in mental development.

First introduced to the Philippine audience via hit reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition,” Gerald worked his way up to become one of this generation’s most sought after dramatic actors and leading men with his remarkable hit teleseryes “Sana Maulit Muli,” “My Girl,” Tayong Dalawa,” and “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo.”

As Gerald returns on primetime, he will be joined by promising young stars of this generation, Jessy Mendiola and Enrique Gil.

Rising primetime princess Jessy will play the role of Jackie, Budoy’s childhood friend who dreams of becoming a teacher while rising dramatic heartthrob Enrique Gil will play the role of Benjamin, Budoy’s rival in love and the boy who has everything except his mother’s warmth and his father’s approval.

The advocacy serye marks the return of Janice de Belen to the Kapamilya network. She will play the role of Bebang, Budoy’s caretaker who adopted him after he was disowned by his real family.

Budoy, played by Gerald, is the son of Dr. Gregor Maniego (Tirso Cruz III), the top ob-gynecologist in the Philippines and Luisa Maniego (Zsa zsa Padilla), Dr. Maniego’s secretary who he chose to marry despite his mother mother’s disapproval.

Dr. Maniego came from a family of doctors—his mother Dr. Alberta Maniego (Barbara Perez) is a brilliant oncologist while his brother Dr. Isaac Maniego (Christian Vasquez) is a famous brain surgeon.

Budoy’s birth is a family blessing that later on turned into a family shame when they discovered that Budoy is suffering from Angel Syndrome, which delays the intellectual development of a child.

The family decided to hide their “dishonor”—their abnormal son Budoy—and replace him with a normal child.

“Budoy’s” power cast will be joined by veteran stars Gloria Sevilla, Dante Rivero, and Mylene Dizon.

ABS-CBN is proud to present “Budoy,” the newest primetime drama which is set to inspire the whole country.

Reputasyon Soon on Abs-cbn

What if your reputation was put on the line because of a false accusation and a web of lies and deceit? ABS-CBN takes drama on a different level via “Reputasyon” which started airing last Monday (July 11).
Part of ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold, “Reputasyon” is led by Cristine Reyes.
As she embarks on a new role that promises to be her most challenging by far, Cristine is ready to put her reputation on the line for her new show. “Itataya ko po ang repustasyon ko, maganda po talaga ang kwento nitong bagong show namin. Pinagisipan po ng mabuti at pinaghandaan po ng aming mga manunulat at produksyon,” Cristine shared.
Cristine plays the role of Agnes De Los Santos, a simple woman with big dreams for her family. However, an event changes her life in ways she did not imagined and dreamt of.
Side by side with Cristine is her real-life boyfriend, Rayver Cruz who plays Henry. “Pakiramdam ko hindi ako nagtatrabaho kasi masaya kami sa set. Masayang-masaya ako na kasama ko si Cristine dito sa show. Bihira lang naman kasi yung pagkakataon na makasama mo sa isang project yung mahal mo sa buhay. At ang project na ito, maipagmamalaki namin, exciting ang magiging latag ng mga kwento,” Rayver said.
Jason Abalos will be completing the love triangle as Boyet. Jason shared in an interview that he is very much enthusiastic about this project.
This is also the comeback project of Aiko Melendez who took a hiatus in the television scene for quite a long time. Aiko plays an offbeat role that will make us all remember that she was indeed one of the most brilliant actresses during her early years.
An impressive array of actors will further bring brilliance to the teleserye– Jaclyn Jose, Lito Pimentel, Emilio Garcia, Deborah Sun, Jill Yulo, Andre Garcia, John James Uy. Acclaimed directors Laurice Guillen and Celso Ad Castillo complete the cast.
Under the direction of Jeffrey Jeturian and Mervyn Brondial, “Reputsayon” airs weekdays after “Happy Yippee Yehey” on ABS-CBN.
