Stairway to Heaven‘s Kwon Sang Woo stars in “Cinderella Man”, a Koreanovela that narrates a masculine version of the fairy tale, Cinderella.

Kwon Sang Woo, who also stars in Big Thing, plays the two lead characters in “Cinderella Man”. As Brian and Rodney, he portrays two amazingly identical men whose lives are intertwined because of fashion and a secret past.
Despite their striking resemblance, Brian and Rodney come from very different walks of life. Brian sells clothes in a marketplace and hopes to get into the fashion industry. Meanwhile, Rodney secretly wants to be a chef but forcibly manages a fashion empire that he is about to inherit.

What happens when their paths cross and they decide to switch identities? Will their lives get better or worse? What could be the mysterious past that ties their lives?

The Koreanovela that received the most trophies in the 2010 SBS Drama Awards hits primetime beginning this Monday.

“Big Thing” stars Ko Hyun Jung, who portrayed Lady Mishil in Queen Seon Deok. This time, however, she is no longer the villain but is now the main protagonist of the story.
Kwon Sang Woo, who is popularly known as Cholo in Stairway to Heaven, also makes a comeback and plays as a prosecutor named Edward Ha.
The story of “Big Thing” tells of Maureen’s (Ko Hyun Jung) rise to power as the first female president of South Korea. She started as a TV announcer who protested against the government because of her husband’s death in the hands of terrorists.
Two men aid her to succeed in politics: Edward, her friend who secretly loves her; and Victor Kang (Cha In Pyo), the congressman who urged her to run for president for his own ambitions.
Can Maureen survive the difficult and sometimes dirty world of politics? Whom should she trust? Is there a room for love in her life — both as a single mom and as a head of state?

“My Princess” is an upcoming romantic fairytale Korean tv series starring Kim Tae-hee (Stairway to Heaven) and Song Seung-hun (Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart).

Here is the synopsis of the series:

An ordinary college student, Lee Seol (the character of Kim Tae-hee), finds out she’s a princess and the great grand daughter of Joseon Dynasty last Emperor Emperor Sunjong. The grandson of Daehan Group, Park Hae-young (the character of Song Seung-hun), is put in charge of educating Seol on proper etiquette. However, Hae-young is put in a precarious situation when he finds himself drawn to Seol, the girl who will take away his inheritance if the monarchy is restored.
