Dennis Trillo is paired with Jennylyn Mercado in the upcoming Sine Novela “Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak.”
Sine Novela Presents Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak (Crawl in Mire) is a remake of the political drama flick in the 90’s which starred Christopher de Leon, Dina Bonnevie, Eddie Garcia and Charo Santos and was directed by the late Lino Brocka. It is the 19th installment of Sine Novela and it will star Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado together with Angelu de Leon, Al Tantay and Christopher De Leon.
Also starring in the new Sine Novela are Sandy Andolong, Glydel Mercado, Lotlot de Leon, Julio Diaz, Michael Sandico, Ryza Cenon, Mart Escudero, Vaness del Moral, Prince Stefan, and introducing Shaun Rodriguez of Survivor Philippines: Palau.
Gumapang Ka sa Lusak is helmed by Maryo J. delos Reyes, the director of the two record-breaking Sine Novelas “Saan Darating ang Umaga?” and “Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?” It also has the production staff of Magdusa Ka, a show that earned acclaim from the International Emmys.
Gumapang Ka sa Lusak, dubbed as the best Sine Novela yet, premieres on February 8 under GMA-7’s Dramarama sa Hapon block, replacing Kaya Kong Abutin ang Langit.
