Rafael Rosell Paired with Paw Diaz ‘Substitute Bride’

For the very first time, the versatile actor and reality contest finalist are the lead stars of PHR. Rafael has already appeared as one of the Bud Brothers and has also been part of Your Song, I Love Betty la Fea, Maligno and Rounin while this is the biggest break for Paw who has also appeared in Natutulog ba ang Diyos, Qpids and Magkano ang Iyong Dangal.

When asked about their daring scenes, Paw shared, “Kinakabahan ako ng bongga. Although medyo madali kasi friends naman kami ni Rafael pero sana huwag naman masyadong daring,” sabay tawa ng dalaga. Dagdag niya pa, ”Si direk Connie, lagi niya akong kinakausap tungkol sa role. Nanonood kami ng different movies para makakita ng iba’t ibang atake sa mga characters.”

Rafael had a different view on his role of being sexy, ”Ako sa PHR, accept lang ako ng accept kasi I love working with the team and I like the roles they’re giving me. Napansin ko rin na ung mga characters na binibigay sa akin ay may angst side and I like portraying characters na hindi perfect. For me, work is work. If you’re married, things do happen that are very passionate. I’m just portraying the truth.”

In the story, Brent (Rafael), a handsome CEO of a big engineering company, is planned to be wed to his model fiancée Candra (Carla Humphries). But because the bride-to-be had suddenly gone missing in action, Brent will look for a substitute bride in the form of Brent’s secretary, Wilda (Paw) who has a crush on her boss.

Will Wilda accept this unique proposal? Will Brent find the love he has been looking for?
