TV5 will bring news and talk shows on FM Radio via Radyo Singko starting November 8, 2010.

TV5 creates another media milestone by introducing the first-ever news/talk station on FM radio with the launch of 92.3 NEWS FM Radyo Singko, which makes its first full broadcast in Mega Manila and some parts of Northern Luzon this November 8. With this pioneering news/talk station on the FM band, TV5 further reaches out to its growing audiences by revolutionizing public service and informative programming beyond television.
Radyo Singko offers a new platform that blends the young and seasoned journalists from TV and radio. With its 40-reportorial team on 24/7 operation, 92.3 NEWS FM Radyo Singko sets off a formidable synergy with the News5 Central News Desk in terms of content generation and news materials.
“We are very much driven by the encouraging public feedback on TV5 and the innovations that we have to offer. With the trust and confidence given to us by our progressive viewing public, we have all the motivation we need to set our sights beyond the confines of traditional media. We believe in the boundless possibilities of multimedia convergence, and 92.3 News FM is part of the great leaps we are prepared to make as a multimedia organization,” said Atty. Ray Espinosa, President and CEO of TV5.

“Intelligent commentaries and latest news are no longer limited to AM with 92.3 NEWS FM Radyo Singko. We’ve already introduced firebrand journalism on TV, and it’s high time that we bring radio to a new level.
